Introduction to the Octagonal Pavilion: This pavilion is built in imitation of the Jingzhen Octagonal Pavilion and is a symbol of the architectural art level of the Dai people in ancient Xishuangbanna. The Octagonal Pavilion has an inseparable relationship with the Bay-leaf Sutra. After the Bay-leaf Sutra is completed, it is stored in the Octagonal Pavilion for monks to read. Therefore, the Octagonal Pavilion also has the function of collecting scriptures.
