Introduction to the Jia family’s former residence: There are many naval families in Qinjiang Manchu Village, among which the Jia, Huang and Xu families are the most famous. Nine generations of the Jia family, eight consecutive generations of the Huang family and seven consecutive generations of the Xu family have participated navy. During the 279 years from 1729 to 2008, nine generations of the Jia family had children serving in the navy. They are one of the naval families with the most consecutive generations known in China. The Jia family's former residence is next to Xiaoyoufang. Many documents and materials of the Jia family are well preserved in the former residence.
