Introduction to Meijiu River: The water source of Chishui River has never been polluted and is a precious water source for brewing Maotai-flavor wine. The world's largest mosaic rock carving with Chinese characters "Meijiu River" is engraved on Centipede Rock on the north bank of the upper reaches of the Chishui River and was written by Mr. Shao Huaze, a famous Chinese calligrapher. The total area of the huge stone carvings is 4,800 square meters, and each character occupies about 1,600 square meters of rock area. Among them, the largest character "美" is 41.20 meters high, 33.05 meters wide, and 1.8 to 2.2 meters deep. Centipede Rock is a 90-degree cliff with a height of 250 meters and a width of 400 meters. Its engraving project is arduous and its area, length and width are the largest in the world. In 1999, it was included in the "Guinness Book of the World".
