Introduction to Mashan Fort: Mashan Fort, formerly known as Aragonite Fort, Kanshi Fort and Yantai Fort, is one of the few ancient forts from the Ming and Qing dynasties at the mouth of the Minjiang River. In 2015, Mashan Fort began restorative renovations, planning to cover an area of 182 acres, repair 4 gun emplacements, rebuild barracks, and build it into a national defense education and patriotism education base.
