Plant introduction: The forest vegetation in the Ma Tou Mountain Reserve is mainly natural evergreen broad-leaved forest, with a coverage rate of 96.3%. There are about 2,500 species of higher plants in the area, of which more than 20 species are on the list of national key protected plants (the first batch), especially Torreya longifolia and Platycraterargnta, which are only distributed here in Jiangxi. At the same time, Jiangxi is also one of the main producing areas of Chinese medicinal materials in China. There are 342 kinds of Chinese medicines purchased and used, and there are 187 kinds of Chinese medicines in the protected areas (as of 2000).
