Introduction to Kongshen Miao Village: Kongshen Miniskirt Miao Village is located in Liangwang Township. The Miao people in the village are said to be descendants of Zhang Guolao and his sister. The village is built on the mountain, surrounded by rolling hills and lush forests. A clear stream flows by the village, and there are row upon row of stilted houses and granaries.
The Lusheng dance of the local Miao people is very rough and unrestrained, expressing the Miao people's victory in resisting invasion, returning from hunting, and joy of harvest; the costumes are also quite peculiar, with women wearing cyan pointed hats and 5-7 inch pleated miniskirts. , wearing half-length straw sandals and an embroidered apron with various animal skin patterns, known as "the epic worn on the body."
Every year on March 3rd of the lunar calendar, "Mao Ren Festival" is a unique festival of Kongshen Miao Village. It is a day in ancient times when villages were not allowed to intermarry and could only marry far away, and lovers reminisced about old times. It was also a day for unmarried young men and women to seek love. A romantic holiday for finding a partner, it is known as "the oldest Valentine's Day in the East".
