Jilong Bridge introduction: Jilong Bridge, also known as Feigai Bridge and Shengong Bridge, was built in the first year of Tianfu (901) of Emperor Zhaozong of the Tang Dynasty. It is the only stone bridge connecting Min'an to the lower reaches of the Minjiang River and eastern Fujian in ancient times. In the Qing Dynasty, the Min'an navy's left and right camps were set up across the river to travel across the bridge. The bridge runs north-south and spans Xinggang. It has a total length of 66 meters, a width of 4.8 meters, 4 piers and 5 holes, a rare boat-shaped pier, and a granite flat beam structure. The distance between the two piers is about 13 meters, and there are five large stone beams each 15 meters long, 0.9 meters wide and 1 meter thick, each weighing about 30 tons. Stone slabs lay across the bridge deck, and stone railings protect both sides. The stone railings are 3.3 meters long, 0.45 meters wide, and 0.15 meters thick. The stone railings are 0.45 meters square and 1.4 meters high. 36 roots. The tops of the pillars are carved with lifelike sculptures of strange animals and precious fruits, demonstrating the exquisite skills of stone carvings of the Tang and Song Dynasties in my country and interpreting the prosperous cultural scene of the Tang and Song Dynasties. In 1991, it was announced as a provincial cultural relic protection unit.
