Introduction to Shengwang Temple: Shengwang Temple is located on the north bank of Xinggang, at the head of Jiaolong Bridge. The temple faces north and faces south, backed by Qipan Mountain. On the rear left side are the Temple of General Liao and the Tomb of General Lin Shuqing, martyr of the Revolution of 1911. The Holy King Temple consists of three parts: the cross-street gallery pavilion, the Holy King Hall and the Guanyin Pavilion, covering an area of 405 square meters. The cross-street gallery pavilion is rectangular in plan, with a wooden frame and double eaves resting on the nine-ridge top. The pavilion is connected to the Jiaolong Bridge in the west. The temple gate and the pavilion gate are facing the central axis of the ancient bridge, and there are stone railings on the left. There are three stone tablets erected in the pavilion, among which the "Shen Gong Bridge" tablet records the historical evolution of Jiulong Bridge. The "Fu Lu Shan Qing" stele and the "Temple Reconstruction" stele record the rebuilding of the Shengwang Temple in the 12th year of the Republic of China (1923). The Shengwang Temple is a civil structure, with five rooms each wide and five deep, with a wooden frame built with buckets and raised beams. It houses the Great Sage Sun Wukong.
