The turtle stele in front of Dingling has a white circular mark on the back upper right corner, so Also known as the "Moon Monument", the magical legend of the "Dingling Moon Monument" is still circulated among the local people.
It is said that one day Wanli met the Fire God in his sleep and said that he would burn the Dingling Tomb that he had built in advance. Wanli made a bet with the God of Fire that if Dingling was burned down in the future, he would be blinded in one eye now. The God of Fire laughed and left. Wanli was shocked and realized that he was indeed blind in his left eye. He fell ill from then on and died soon after. After Wanli's death, his right eye never closed. After the burial, the light and shadow emitted by the right eye were projected on the stone tablet, and it became the white round thing. At the end of the lunar month and the beginning of the month, this thing would be as bright as the fifteenth moon. From then on, it was called the "Dingling Moon Monument". Come on. On the fifteenth day of a certain month, dark clouds covered the moon, and the God of Fire took the opportunity to set fire to Dingling and burn it to the ground. After that, Dingling was built and burned many times, until finally it was all converted into stone buildings, and then it stopped for a while. But the "moon" on the monument has been roasted to death by the fire and will never shine again.
