Zhu Di was the fourth son of Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang. He was born in Yingtian. He was conquered during the current affairs and was named King of Yan. He later launched the Jingnan Campaign to attack his nephew Emperor Jianwen and seize the throne. After his death, the original temple name was "Taizong", but more than a hundred years later it was changed to "Chengzu" by Zhu Houcong, Emperor Shizong of the Ming Dynasty.
