It is speculated that after Zhu Tan's death, the body was buried temporarily in a temporary home, and then another mausoleum site was chosen according to the earth's veins and Feng Shui. It is said that he took great pains when selecting the mausoleum, traveled all over the mountains and rivers of Lu Fan, and finally chose this "fengshui treasure land". The mausoleum area was built completely in accordance with the Feng Shui four god orientations of "Suzaku in the front, Xuanwu in the back, Qinglong on the left, and White Tiger on the right". After the mausoleum site was selected, it took four years to build it before the body was moved and buried here.
