Introduction to the Patriarch's Hall: There is an Patriarch's Hall in the Blood Basin Cave. It is a wooden structure with a single bay, a resting top, two bays in depth, a stone threshold, circular split melon-edge stone columns, and heavy arches on the capitals. Hua Gong, raised beam wooden frame, nine ridge top. Although it has withstood rain, snow, wind and frost for nearly a thousand years, its wooden components have survived to this day, which is rare. It is one of the four surviving wooden buildings from the Song Dynasty in Fujian Province, and is as famous as the main hall of Hualin Temple in Fuzhou.
