Introduction to Skolina Street: Skolina Street is the central axis and main traffic artery of Minsk. The street was originally named Lenin Street. The street is 11 kilometers long and 48-70 meters wide, running from northeast to southwest. Minsk, across the Svisloch River flowing through the city of Minsk, intersects with the main traffic arteries connecting various districts in the city. Most of the buildings along the street were rebuilt after World War II. The street passes through famous squares such as Victory Square, Independence Square (formerly Lenin Square), and October Square.
