Introduction to the Inscription on the Reconstruction of the Temple of King Zhongyi: On the left side of the vestibule is the "Inscription on the Reconstruction of the Temple of King Zhongyi" from the Wanli Period of the Ming Dynasty. It was erected by Qian Yu, the governor of Fuzhou, in 976 during the Five Dynasties (the ninth year of Kaibao in the Song Dynasty). Photographed by Fujian County Prime Minister Lin Caoshu Dan is now embedded in the back wall of the Minwang Temple. The body of the stele is made of Gui-shaped black shale, 3.58 meters high and 1.8 meters wide. The turtle base is 0.45 meters high, 1.83 meters wide, and the remaining length is 1.9 meters. The inscription is in regular script and records Wang Shenzhi's life achievements and the reasons for the restoration of the temple. The stele was originally located on the east side of the temple. During the Republic of China, it toppled and broke, so it was embedded in the back wall.
