Introduction to The Alchemist: Opposite the main building is the Student Activity Center. In front of the center stands a sculpture called "The Alchemist", which is the work of Spanish modern artist Jaume Plensa. It is made of many mathematical symbols including Arabic numerals, Greek letters, etc. to look like a human being.
