Introduction to Zhulin Shangshu Temple: Zhulin Shangshu Temple is dedicated to Chen Wenlong, the national hero of the Southern Song Dynasty. This national hero was regarded as one of the "Three Loyalists of the West Lake" by Zhang Qin, a Hanlin scholar in the late Qing Dynasty. He was compared with Yue Fei and Yu Qian, and was as famous as Wen Tianxiang. The people of Fuzhou admired Chen Wenlong very much. From the Ming Dynasty (Hongwu) to the Qing Dynasty (Guangxu), five Shangshu temples were built in Fuzhou, and the Zhulin Shangshu Temple was one of them. The characteristics of the protector of maritime security attract countless overseas Chinese from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao and Southeast Asian countries to visit, pay homage and worship here. The current Zhulin Shangshu Temple was moved and rebuilt in 1997. The original site of the temple is Sanbaonagong Building. It was first built in the first year of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty (1820) and was renovated in the 20th year of Guangxu (1894). It has double eaves on the top of the mountain. , a mixed structure of raised beams and buckets, standing facing the river, facing south, it is a typical building of the mid-Qing Dynasty with the traditional architectural and artistic style of the Ming Dynasty.
