Introduction to the Prince of Wales Museum: The Prince of Wales Museum is the largest museum in India. It was named after the then Prince of Wales came to India in 1905 to lay its foundation stone. The museum was designed by British architect George Vittet. The main structure is made of basalt stone and has a three-story dome. The huge marble dome is particularly magnificent.
