Introduction to the Sino-Japanese Friendship Forest: Adjacent to Xinyao Lake, it was built to commemorate the fifth anniversary of friendly exchanges between Jiangxi Province in China and Gifu Prefecture in Japan, and as a symbol of friendly cooperation. The Friendship Forest covers an area of 100.7 hectares and has seven tree species including Japanese cherry blossoms, Chinese plum blossoms, ginkgo biloba, tulip tree, red maple, slash pine and Huangshan pine, totaling 14,739 trees. There is a Sino-Japanese Friendship Forest Monument in the forest, which is 6.8 meters high, 2.4 meters long and 1.65 meters wide. The pattern implies the words "China and Japan" and the image is of blooming flowers.
