Introduction to cultural heritage: In June 1954, the Cultural Department of the Nanjing Municipal People's Government organized veteran artists with relatively high technical skills and some art cadres to establish a Yun Brocade Research Working Group to organize and research Nanjing Yun Brocade. Professor Chen Zhifo, a famous Chinese arts and crafts artist, serves as the team leader. In 1957, the Nanjing Yunjin Research Institute was established to inherit, develop and innovate Yunjin techniques. Through the efforts of people from all walks of life and the inheritors of Yunjin brocade techniques, this traditional technique on the verge of extinction has gradually been restored. Furthermore, through continuous innovation and development, products that were exclusive to the royal family in the past have now entered the lives of ordinary people and become famous silk products loved by ordinary people. In 2009, Nanjing's brocade weaving skills were successfully selected into the "Representative List of Human Intangible Cultural Heritage" and became a common cultural heritage for all mankind.
