Introduction to Mochou: According to legend, during the Southern Qi Dynasty, Mochou, a girl from Luoyang, married into the Lu family of a wealthy family from Jiangdong because of her poverty, and moved to the shores of Shicheng Lake in Nanjing. Later, in memory of her, a two-meter-high white marble statue was built in the lotus pond of the lotus viewing hall next to Yujin Hall of her former residence. It has now become one of Nanjing's landmark attractions.
