Introduction to the Tombs of Soldiers and Horses Fallen in the Revolution of 1911: In the early years of the Republic of China, the remains of more than 200 soldiers and their horses who were killed in the Battle of Yuhuatai were buried here together. Two earthen mounds were built and monuments were erected to commemorate them.
