Introduction to Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum: Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum is the joint tomb of Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, and his queen Ma Shi. It is the only world cultural heritage site in Nanjing so far. Located at the foot of Mount Everest in Dulongfu, south of Purple Mountain, it is the largest imperial mausoleum in Nanjing and one of the largest imperial mausoleums in ancient my country. The main buildings in the mausoleum area (from the main gate to Chongqiu) include the Wenwu Square Gate (i.e. the main gate), Stele Hall, Xiang Hall, Dashi Bridge, Square City, Minglou, Baoding, etc. The inscriptions (from Xiamafang to the main entrance of Xiaoling) include Xiamafang, Shenlie Mountain Stele, Dajinmen, Shengongshengde Stele and Stele Pavilion (commonly known as Sifang City), Shinto stone carvings and Yuhe Bridge.
