Introduction to the memorial hall: The memorial hall is now usually called the mourning hall. It is a palace-style building that combines Chinese and Western architectural styles. It is 30 meters long, 25 meters wide and 29 meters high. The outer wall is made of Hong Kong granite. In the middle of the memorial hall is a marble seated statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen. In the center of the tomb is a round marble vault. In the center of the tomb is a recumbent statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen carved in white marble. Sun Yat-sen's body was placed in this round stone vault and sealed with reinforced concrete.
