Jiji is surrounded by mountains, with beautiful natural landscapes and rich cultural, historical and other tourist resources. The Jiji Railway, which was developed during the Japanese occupation period to transport firewood and agricultural and grain products, has made it a distribution center for agricultural and grain products in central Taiwan. , also accelerated the development of the local area and the upper reaches of Zhuoshui River.
