Introduction to the temple: The academy was one of the four major academies in Nantou County during the Qing Dynasty. The building is in the style of a triple courtyard in southern Fujian. It was renovated by the Scripture Construction Association in the 60th year of the Republic of China. The main hall building has a temple-like dovetail eaves, while the left and right wings are in the style of traditional residential buildings. Some rural folk cultural relics are also arranged next to the academy for tourists to visit, including bullock carts, wheels, water tanks, etc.
