Introduction to Qiu Shuli: Qiu Shuli is a villa built in 1930 by Liu Chengqian, the grandson of Liu Yong, the owner of Jiaye Hall Library. Liu Chengqian was indifferent to fame and wealth throughout his life and did not seek official advancement. Even in his later years, when his family declined, he was calm and content. , so he calls himself a "forgiveness-seeking layman". The place where he stored books in Shanghai was named "Qiushu Zhai", and his villa in Nanxun was called "Qiushuli".
Qiushuli is a typical building that combines Chinese and Western styles. The entire structure is composed of a gatehouse, corridor, Western-style gate tower, rolling door, courtyard and independent hall. The villa currently displays an exhibition of photography works by Liu Chengqian's ninth brother Liu Xucang.
