Introduction to Sangu Hall: Located behind the Guanzhang Hall, it is a commemorative building where Liu Bei had a conversation with Zhuge Liang when he visited the thatched cottage three times. It was first built in the 51st year of Kangxi and rebuilt by Gu Jiaheng, the prefect during the Xianfeng period. The plaque was written by Luo Jing, the prefect during the Kangxi period. It is three rooms wide and one room deep. It is a combination of wooden steps and hard pediment brick walls. It is simple and elegant, with a strong local style. There is a verandah in front of it. There are statues of Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang having a conversation in the hall. The two sat separately as guest and host, with a scholar standing beside them, recreating the scene of Bei Liang meeting and discussing the world.
