Introduction to Genkoji Temple: Genkoji Temple, also known as Gokuakubo, is a temple located in Nara City and one of the seven major temples in Nanto. There was a five-large pagoda built in the eighth century AD, which was destroyed by fire in 1859 after a thousand years of wind and frost. The existing Kukurakubo was included in the World Heritage list in 1999 as part of the cultural properties of the ancient capital Nara.
