Pashupatinath Temple Introduction:Pashupati nath, located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River, was built in the 5th century AD to worship Shiva, the god of destruction. It is the world's most famous temple in Nepal. One of the cultural heritages, it is the largest Hindu temple in Nepal, the most famous Shiva temple in the subcontinent, and one of the most important temples in Hinduism. The temple has a three-tiered roof and is surrounded by buildings painted in yellow and white.
