Introduction to Wencuo Lake: Wencuo Lake, also known as Jhamucuo, is located on the south side of the main peak of Nianbao. It consists of two lakes, the east and the west, and is commonly known as the "衡裢" lake, covering an area of about 12 square kilometers. In the middle of the two lakes is the sacred mulberry burning platform, lined with three "forts", representing the three major tribes and the three Ashjiangben: Kanggan, Kangsai and Gongmacang. Tibetan people call this place the birthplace of "Sanguoluo".
