Introduction to the site excavation site: This is the main area of Shuidonggou archaeological excavation. In 1923, Teilhard de Charjin and Sang Zhihua first conducted excavations from F1 to F5 here, and more than 300 kilograms of stone tools were unearthed. According to the convention of archeology, ancient cultures are often named after the place where they were first discovered. Because this place was named "Shuidonggou Cultural Site", the earliest ancient humans who lived here were called "Shuidonggou People".
