Introduction to Muge Village: According to historical records and inscriptions unearthed in Niushan Forest Park, this village has a long history. It is said that Mu Guiying and his father Mu Yu were the ancestors of Mu Guiying and his father Mu Yu during the Northern Song Dynasty. Unable to endure the persecution of Privy Councilor Wang Qiang, they retired to their hometown in seclusion. , seeing that the terrain was dangerous, with dense forests and deep ditches, they recruited troops and horses to build a stronghold to avoid disaster. There are many village names and river names around it related to Yang Jiajiang and Mu Guiying. It was also called Huangchao Village. A part of the Taiping Rebellion Army was stationed here, so the village is well preserved. There was an original wooden structure loft in the village, also known as a wooden tower, hence the name Muge Village. The winding Muge Village has a 3,600-meter wall about two meters wide, about 6 meters high, and three stone arch gates. The entire village covers an area of about 380 acres. There are barracks, sentry houses, and Chinese troops in the village. There are more than 100 ruins of large tents and logistics supplies, as well as stone mills and stone mortars.
