Introduction to Tongchuan Academy: Tongchuan Academy was built by Li Bangzhen, the censor of Qiandu in the Ming Dynasty, who retired and returned to his hometown in the third year of Wanli. Because of his love for reading as a young man, he built it to gather relatives and make friends, and to educate his descendants. The academy was built on the east side of Luoshiquan. The original building is two Ming-style blue brick houses with small tiles. The three rooms in the front row are the school hall, the three rooms in the back row with the front building are the accommodation and reception area, and the east wing is the kitchen. In front of the school hall, there are Youran Terrace, Ganlin Pond and Huanwan. Among Cuiting and others, only a pair of dragon and phoenix cypresses planted by Li Bangzhen himself remain.
