The Fall of Northeast China Introduction to the Anti-Japanese War in Liaodong: After the September 18th Incident in 1931, the Japanese army occupied Northeast China. Although the Chinese government troops withdrew from the three northeastern provinces, the civilian anti-Japanese volunteers have been resisting the Japanese army. On September 15, 1932, the Fourth and Eleventh Routes of the Anti-Japanese and National Salvation Army attacked Fushun, severely damaging the Japanese army.
