Introduction to the Bell Pavilion: There is an exquisite hexagonal bell pavilion on the hillside southwest of Weiming Lake. Inside the pavilion hangs a bronze bell engraved with dragon, sea waves and Bagua patterns. Outside the pavilion, there are ancient trees, green branches and green grass. Listening to the New Year's bell has become the highlight of Peking University people's farewell to the old year and welcoming the new year at the end of each year.
