Introduction to Rizhao Nunnery: Rizhao Nunnery is also known as Bixia Yuanjun Palace, commonly known as Shangsi. This nunnery is an ancient temple from the Yuan and Ming dynasties. It is located on a high slope in front of Ruiyun Peak. It is named after the "sunrise shines" because of its high terrain and no obstruction in front.
