Introduction to the Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection and Exhibition Center: The Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection and Exhibition Center covers an area of 1,820 square meters and a building area of 1,750 square meters. The main building was originally the residence of the wealthy businessman Lu of Pinghu. It was built in the 1930s. It is a well-preserved and large-scale building from the Republic of China period in the Pinghu area. The exhibition center uses scene, restoration, and picture-text display techniques from three aspects: dance and competition, crafts and arts, music and opera, and features Pinghu Pipa, Cymbal Book, Nine-Colored Dragon, Watermelon Lantern, Zao Eggs and homespun cloth are the focus of the display, focusing on Pinghu City's high-quality projects included in the national, provincial and municipal intangible cultural heritage lists. The Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Center, which was opened to the public in June 2009, is an ideal place to appreciate the rich and splendid intangible cultural heritage of "Jinping Lake" and carry out patriotic education and cultural leisure tourism.
