Introduction to Xiaorehun: In the 1920s, the "Xiaorehun" of Pinghu was most famous for the Lu family in Dongcheng Lake Beach. Lu Jinsheng, a native of Kunshan, Jiangsu, was engaged in the production of the Lu family's secret recipe "Yanlingzhai" Baicao pear candy. At that time, the Lu family sailed a boat and made and sold pear candy on the boat. After selling it along the way to Pinghu, they settled on Dongcheng Lake Beach. His son Lu Baozhen inherited his father's skills. In the 1930s, Lu Baozhen also studied under Chen Guoan (stage name Lai Deli), the son of Chen Changsheng (stage name Xiao Deli), a master of the "Xiao Rehun" generation in Shanghai. Lu Baozhen (stage name Laidehong) is good at singing and acting. He has been traveling around Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai for a long time, rapping and selling candy in the form of Xiaorehuan. He became famous because he rapped and sold candy on the same stage with Liu Chunshan, a famous Shanghai "Xiao Rehun" artist; and collaborated with Fang Xiaoxiao, the leader of the Suzhou Comedy Troupe, to sing and sell candy in the "Xiao Rehun" style.
