Introduction to the achievements of heroes and martyrs: The Hall of Performance of Heroes and Martyrs displays the inscriptions of Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin and other leading comrades of the three generations of the party’s core leaders; it introduces the 32 famous martyrs and cadres above the regiment level, 26 combat heroes and above who died in the Battle of Peking and Tianjin. The deeds of 109 hero and model groups; the display cabinets hang the banners of the hero and model groups, and a large number of medals, certificates and items used by heroes and martyrs are on display. The names of 6,793 martyrs who died in the Battle of Pingjin are engraved on the wall of the Heroes' List, expressing deep memory and admiration for the martyrs.
