Introduction to Zhenguo Temple: Zhenguo Temple is located in Haodong Village, 12 kilometers northeast of Pingyao County. It was originally named Jingcheng Temple and was renamed Zhenguo Temple in the 19th year of Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty. It was built in the Northern Han Dynasty of the Five Dynasties and is only 1 km away from Hongshan Station of Tongpu Railway. The temple is divided into two parts, the front and back. From south to north there are the Tianwang Hall, the Ten Thousand Buddhas Hall, the Three Buddhas Tower, etc. The Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas is the main building in the front yard. It is one of the oldest existing wooden structures in my country. Although the hall is small in size, it is majestic in shape and extraordinary in momentum. There are 14 colorful sculptures in the hall. There is a statue of Sakyamuni in the middle of the Buddhist altar. Kassapa and Ananda, two disciples, stand on the left and right. The Buddha is tall and dignified, with a strong mid-Tang Dynasty style.
