Introduction to Dacheng Hall: Dacheng Hall is the main hall of the Confucian Temple. It was rebuilt in the third year of Dading of Jin Dynasty (AD 1163). It has a history of more than 800 years and is the only Song Dynasty building among Confucius temples across the country. Dacheng Hall is built on a one-meter-high platform, with five bays in width and depth. It has a single-eave gable roof and thick eaves columns with a diameter of 47 cm. The brackets under the eaves are sparse and majestic. There are three types of tween paving and corner paving, which are typical practices in the Song and Jin Dynasties.
