Introduction to Sarangkot: Sarangkot is located in the northwest of Pokhara, with an altitude of 1,592 meters. It is the best viewing platform for overlooking the Fishtail Peak and Annapurna Peaks. Under clear weather, the continuous snow-capped peaks are cast in brilliant colors by the setting sun. The round-trip price for chartering a car to watch the sunrise is about 800 rupees, and the one-way trip takes about 20 minutes. The car only drives to the parking lot at the foot of the mountain, and then it takes about 40 minutes to hike to the top of the mountain. Tickets are 25 rupees.
