Theater introduction: The Julius Theater is modeled on some of the best Baroque theaters in Europe and named after the famous Polish poet Juliusz Słowacki. It is one of the most important stages in Poland. The theater was built in 1893 and was the first theater in Krakow to be equipped with electricity. It was originally built on the site of a 14th-century church and mosque.
