Statue introduction: The salt mine built a mythological hall based on the "Mythical Story of Princess Jinka", which displays a group of sculptures of miners offering salt to Princess Jinka. Legend has it that a long time ago, a Hungarian king betrothed his beloved daughter, Princess Jinka, to Boleslaw, the Archduke of Krakow, Poland. When the dowry was being arranged, the king asked his daughter what she liked, and she replied: "I like a salt mine." The king asked: "Why?" The daughter replied: "There are no salt mines in Poland. Salt mines will bring happiness and peace to the Poles." The king nodded in agreement, and the princess immediately took off her engagement ring and threw it to the Maramures Salt Mine. After the marriage, the princess sent people to Wieliczka to mine for salt. Not only did people dig out salt in Wieliczka, but the ring that the princess threw into the salt mine was also found in the first piece of rock salt. From then on, the Poles no longer worried about the days without salt. Just because they have salt in their hands, when treating guests to a meal, the Poles can proudly say: "Without salt, there is no taste."
