Introduction to Migratory Birds National Nature Reserve: Thousands of migratory birds fly into the reserve in late autumn and early winter (October) every year, until they gradually leave in the following spring (April). Today, there are more than 300 species of birds in the reserve, nearly one million, including more than 50 species of rare birds. It is the largest bird sanctuary in the world. What is particularly gratifying is that the largest group of white cranes in the contemporary world has been discovered here. Therefore, Poyang Lake is called the "World of White Cranes" and the "Kingdom of Rare Birds".
