Introduction to the New City Hall: The New City Hall (Novoměstská radnice) is located at the northern end of Charles Square. It was built in Gothic style in 1367 and was rebuilt several times. The current form was formed in 1456. Looking up at the Municipal Government from the square From the hall, you can see the three red triangular gables on the roof. The 42-meter-high square late Gothic-style bell tower next to the roof is also quite eye-catching. You can get a panoramic view of the new city from the high tower.
On July 30, 1419, the first incident of throwing Prague out of the window occurred here. Hussites rushed into the New City Hall and threw the mayor and aldermen from the window downstairs, triggering the Hussite War. .
