Introduction to St. George's Monastery: St. George's Monastery (Czech: St.George's Basilica, English: St.George's church) is located behind St. Vitus Cathedral. It is a red twin-tower church built in 920 AD. It is also the Czech Republic The best-preserved imitation Romanesque building, the church has been expanded many times since its completion, most recently at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The cornerstone and two steeples of the church have been preserved since the 10th century.
