Introduction to the National Theater: The State Theater is the largest comprehensive arts theater in South Africa. It has 5 halls that perform opera, ballet, drama, chorus and symphony concerts. Sarah Brightman and the three tenors Pavarotti, Domingo, Carreras and many other world superstars have given wonderful performances here. There is a flea market open in front of the theater on Saturday mornings.
