Introduction to Shudu Lake: Shudu Lake, also known as Shudu Gang Lake, is surrounded by trees. With an altitude of 3,705 meters and a water area of 15 square kilometers, it is one of the largest freshwater lakes in Shangri-La County. The water of the lake is clear, and small fish swim leisurely under the water. The most unique thing is a rare fish called "Schizothorax". There is also a pasture with flocks of cattle and sheep beside the lake, which is full of the interest of life in Tibetan areas. "Gen" means cheese in Tibetan, and "Du" means stone. Legend has it that an eminent monk traveled here in ancient times, and herdsmen offered cheese to him. He was overjoyed to see that the cheese from the Duogang Lake Cow Farm was as strong as a stone, so he prayed: "May the cheese here always be as strong as a stone." ", hence the name of Shudugang.
