Introduction to Daedong River: Daedong River is the fifth largest river in North Korea. It originates from the southeast slope of Langlim Mountain in South Hamgyong Province, North Korea, at an altitude of 2184 meters. It flows southwest, passing through South Pyongan Province and Pyongyang City. , merges into the West Korea Bay near Nanpu, and finally flows into the vast Yellow Sea. There are several sluices such as the West Sea Sluice built on the Datong River, forming a large artificial lake that lasts all year round.
